Supernatural Skill: Wendigo Power

Hunters Sense
Roll: Alertness + Perception / Sense + Wendigo Power / Hunter Sense
Wendigo’s senses are some of the most honed of any supernatural hunter. They always adds their Supernatural Skill to Perception rolls that involve one of his senses and treats any can contest any creature’s supernatural ability to fool senses. Their senses are advanced enough to see in perfect darkness or track creatures that passed through their territory weeks before.

Roll: Vitality + Wendigo Power / Resilience
Wendigo are extremely resilient and capable of shrugging off even the most formidable attacks sent their way. A Wendigo can activate this ability reflexively after taking damage and reduce the damage taken by the result.

Roll: Vitality + Covert / Disguise + Shapeshifter Power / Shapeshifting
Wendigo are incredibly adept shapechangers, capable of changing their voice or even their physical appearance. While they need little more than to have seen their target to look like it or hear it’s voice to mimic it perfectly, Wendigos are largely insane which prevents complicated uses of this shapechanging. Still, their hunting instincts remain keen and they leverage this ability regularly to lure out prey.

Superhuman Prowess
Roll: Vitality or Willpower (whichever is higher) + Wendigo Power / Superhuman Prowess
Wendigos are incredibly strong, fast and tough. A Wendigo can take an action to roll his Vitality or Willpower (whichever is higher) + Wendigo Power / Superhuman Prowess. Every difficulty tier grants the Wendigo a + 1 step bonus on all physical attributes for the duration of the scene (+ 1 step easy, + 2 step average, + 3 step hard, etc).

Wendigo Racial Traits

  • Wendigos are immortal and can potentially live forever if they aren’t killed
  • As immortal creatures, Wendigos are immune to disease and hostile environments

Supernatural Weakness: Insanity
Wendigos arise from humans that resorted to cannibalism which drives them insane. Wendigos are primal creatures that exist only to hunt and feed. While Wendigos could potentially live off of very little sustenance for an extended period of time, their insanity causes them to become human-hunting flesh-eating monsters.
