Supernatural Skill – Skinwalker Power

Roll: Vitality
Skinwalkers have incredible regenerative abilities, capable of healing from almost any physical trauma. As long as the Skinwalker has not suffered damage from a silver weapon, they roll their Vitality each turn and split the result between Stun and Wound (provided they have not taken damage from Silver in the same turn). If the Skinwalker takes more than twice his Life Points in Wound damage, roll his Stamina + Skinwalker / Regeneration at a difficulty equal to the amount of Wound the Skinwalker has taken in excess of twice his Life Points. Success means the Skinwalker is merely rendered unconscious and will eventually recover from the damage. Upon being knocked unconscious, almost all Skinwalkers revert to their human form.

Superhuman Senses
Roll: Alertness + Perception / Relevant Sense + Skinwalker Power / Superhuman Sense
Skinwlker senses are rivaled only by supernatural creatures with the most acute senses. They always add their Supernatural Skill to Perception rolls that involve one of their senses. When utilizing their keen sense of smell, they also add their Supernatural Power to the roll.

Transformation (Supernatural Prowess)
Roll: Vitality or Willpower + Skinwalker Power / Transformation
All Skinwalkers are capable of assuming an animal form (most commonly a wolf), and when doing so become formidable combatants. The transformation takes an action and grants the Skinwalker a +1 Step bonus to all physical attribute rolls for each tier of difficulty achieved (+1 is Easy, +2 is Average, +3 is Hard, and so on). Natural weapons of the Skinwalker while transformed typically deal a d6W (if a bite) or a d4W (if a Claw), although some Skinwalkers have developed more formidable natural attacks in concert with their limited shapeshifting ability.

Unlike their Werewolf cousins, Skinwalkers can freely change shape at any time.

Creature Traits

Weakness: Silver
All excess from an attack roll deals Wound damage (instead of Basic). Skinwalkers that suffer Wound damage equal to their Life Points (or a killing blow that would normally slay a human) cannot regenerate the damage.

Feeding: Hearts
Skinwalkers must consume the flesh of others to survive, specifically hearts. The heart of an animal will sustain them for a week while the heart of a Human will sustain them for a month (and is much more satisfying).

Reproduction: Bite
A Skinwalker that bites and does not kill a human curses that human to become a Skinwalker. The human can attempt a Heroic Resistance roll to shake off the supernatural virus but no one has ever been recorded to have succeeded. Sometime within the next month, the Skinwalker will change for the first time and consume their first Heart (which is almost always Human).
